ok, ok, so I am not such a great blogger ...today I had my second success in using my new webcam (well, not so new, purchased 10/11/07) ...never used it cuz I had dial-up (yikes!) ...now I have Comcast cable internet 768down sold but getting 900-1200+, one satisfied feller, am I.  So, now I can videochat with my friends abroad for a good price (goose egg)!!  Man, what a guy hasta do to enjoy a bargain.  Of course, it's fuzzy and has some audio problems ...waddayawant for free??  Anyhow, I am thoroughly enjoying that aspect, as well as the widespread availability of all kindsa video (like last week's episode of something I follow but missed) ...no need for TIVO ...it's gonna all be free online soon...so, that's the news other than the fact Van Johnson died 12/12 and nobody said boo until today on NPR!!  He was great and just goes to show you: "This is the end, Beautiful friend, This is the end, My only friend, the end"-TheDoors...

I see the Belgian government is on the skids again...and again.  Well, maybe King Albert should send 1e Minister Leterme to Elbe and take the job himself ...would save 1 salary, no?  Anyhow, he can last 'till 20 Jan when Bush will be available ...failing that, he could use Blagojevich, Madoff, or even Jesse Jackson Jr. all of whom will soon be free for the job (maybe Madoff would hafta be an absentee for a while)...wadday'all thinka that, eh?

gmail mobile 2

well, here goes...

I have a v3 and am flummoxed as to why gmail mobile 2 has not been fixed to work on what is surely the most or close to the most popular fone in googledom!!

using url from de0ris (http://m.google.com/app/v2.0.6/L1/gmail-g.jar) on the blog for it (http://googlemobile.blogspot.com/2008/10/introducing-gmail-for-mobile-20.html) I was able to install it successfully (the .jar) on my razrV3 using Motorola Midlets Manager and it opens fine and allows add of account then only to put up the yellow "not sufficient memory" screen ...I am convinced it WILL run on the v3 since I run OperaMini and other larger more elaborate apps ...is there anyone who codes out there who can disable the test of memory feature so it will proceed? ...that would be great, we need a HACKED version of GMailMobile2 !!
