...so now it seems ole rod got some money outa rob for the trip he gave him to DC ...wonder why he left space on his tomb? Maybe it's for his logo (i.e. prison tatoo to be applied)? ...and, now we have another dump of phony money into the phony economy so we can all go down to walmart and get ourselves a nice lounge chair and a big bag of pork rinds and settle in for a look at our DTV free ...well, maybe!
really, look at the ads...now the focus is on selling new antennae since they sold out of the coupons for boxes ...the mention of antennaweb.com is all over the airwaves ...it's a SCAM people, duh! I got the boxes and don't get but coupla channels only 1h south of philly. The digital signal doesn't fade out with distance; it falls off a cliff (thus the "cliff effect") ...near transmitter, you get plenty (long island, ny gonna get about 50 or more channels) ...here I don't even get the big4 with antenna on 40' tower and pre-amplifier + amplifier...d'oh! ...wanna buy some converter boxes offa me?
and tomorrow they're gonna bail out the folks who lied like fish to get a mortgage on nice digs in the suburbs ...well, friend of mine's son-in-law had a condo in a nicer (hehee) area of Detroit he got for a buck and a half and just let go for halfa that! ...nice. Where are we going with all this? Sweet haven?
I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today...
